Free 30-second test. We detect your graphics card, ask 5 quick questions and estimate your watts and your bill. No signup.
This is an estimate. Browsers can't read watts. Get real readings from your own GPU: download the PCWatts desktop app (free).
Get real readingsYour browser may report the GPU model through WebGL or WebGPU. Many browsers hide it, so you can pick it. CPU threads come from your browser and are often rounded.
GPU and CPU ratings from NVIDIA, AMD and Intel, plus about 25-40 W for the motherboard, RAM, drives and fans, divided by your PSU's efficiency.
Hours × gaming/idle mix × watts, plus monitors and standby, times the average residential rate for your state (EIA) or country.
Get real readings. This page can only estimate. The free PCWatts desktop app reads your GPU's actual watts while you play and turns them into dollars per game, per day and per month.
Download PCWatts for Windows (coming soon)It depends on your parts, hours and electricity rate. A mid-range PC with an RTX 4060 used 4 hours a day (half gaming) with one monitor costs roughly $3.66 a month at the US average rate of 18.16 cents per kWh (August 2026, EIA). Run the test above for your own setup.
No. Browsers cannot read power sensors, voltages or wattage. PCWatts detects your GPU name where the browser allows it and estimates watts from manufacturer ratings plus a usage model. For real readings use the PCWatts desktop app or a plug-in watt meter.
Treat it as a ballpark, roughly plus or minus 20%. Real draw depends on the game, frame-rate cap, undervolting, factory-overclocked cards, CPU load, fans, drives and your PSU. The result shows a likely range for that reason.
Watts at the wall = (GPU + CPU + motherboard, RAM, drives and fans) / PSU efficiency. We blend gaming and idle watts by your mix, multiply by hours per day, add monitors and a small standby draw, and multiply the kWh by your local electricity rate.
US states: EIA Electric Power Monthly, Table 5.6.A (residential, cents/kWh), August 2026. Other countries: GlobalPetrolPrices.com household electricity, USD/kWh, 2023-2026 average. You can also type your own rate from your bill.
No. A PSU only delivers what the parts ask for. Its efficiency rating (80 PLUS Bronze, Gold, Platinum) changes how much is lost as heat, typically a few percent of your bill.
No. There is no account and no backend. The share link stores your answers in the part of the URL after the #, which browsers do not send to the server.
